AZ Truck Driver

Centennial Truss Fabricators Limited is seeking an experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our team.

We are a locally operated manufacturer serving the construction and building-supply industry. Our drivers play an important role in getting our products safely and reliably from our facility to customers and job sites.

This position is a good fit for an experienced commercial driver who takes pride in their equipment, understands the importance of safe load transportation, and can professionally represent Centennial when dealing with customers, contractors, suppliers and job-site personnel.

Responsibilities

As an AZ Driver with Centennial Truss, your responsibilities may include:

• Safely transporting roof trusses and related building materials to customer and construction sites

• Completing required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Ensuring loads are properly secured before transportation

• Following applicable commercial vehicle, load-securement and road-safety requirements

• Completing delivery documentation and other required driver paperwork

• Communicating with the office team regarding deliveries, site conditions, delays or other concerns

• Providing courteous and professional service when interacting with customers and job-site personnel

• Taking reasonable care of company vehicles, trailers and equipment

• Reporting vehicle, equipment, load or safety concerns promptly

• Assisting with other delivery-related duties as required

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Hold a valid AZ driver's license

• Have a minimum of three years of AZ/commercial driving experience

• Have a strong commitment to safe driving and proper load securement

• Be dependable and able to work independently

• Be comfortable delivering to construction sites and other customer locations

• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and management

• Be able to provide a copy of their valid driver's license

• Successfully complete Centennial's required Driver Survey and insurance approval process

Important Insurance Requirement

Due to the requirements of our commercial vehicle insurance provider, all potential AZ drivers must undergo an insurance review before employment can be finalized.

Applicants will be required to complete a Driver Survey and provide a copy of their valid driver's license. Our insurance provider requires at least three years of commercial/AZ driving experience.

The insurance review process can take a couple weeks, and any offer of employment involving driving duties is conditional upon satisfactory approval by our insurer.
